I am a traditional potter. I cillect and processed all my clay from mother earth, from various locations on the Acoma Reservation and many other locations.I grind, soak, dry and regrind adding various tempers to get my clay.I hand mix and coil my pieces. My technique was taught to me by my grandmother who I admired very much.My pieces are very unique mixing traditional and contemporary styles to showcase my art.I also collect various natural pigments that I use for slips and paints for my pieces, I fire outside as well as in a kiln.
