Dream Weaver Basketry’s woven items are handmade by Ann Mitchell from Akwesasne Mohawk Territory using the traditional Mohawk basketry materials, black ash and sweetgrass, as well as commercial dyes, feathers, ribbons and beads for embellishments. The tradition of Mohawk basketry has been passed down in her family for many generations and Ann is proud to continue keeping the tradition alive.
