I am a self-taught potter that has spent over fifty years experimenting with all kinds of found and home refined materials to create my pottery art using these materials. They are all hand coiled and painted using these natural found clays and tempers, polishing slips and paints (the black paint coming from hematite rock ground on a stone pallet and mixed with a type of dried molasses made from bee plant juice). The pots are all stone polished and fired outside using juniper wood and sheep dung. Pottery is traditionally fired outside.
