My creations are a product of the generational knowledge passed down through my ancestors and the teachings of turquoise and Heishi jewelry my mother and grandmother gave me. From that, I began to have a deeper interest in learning about my ancestors’ techniques to create their work. Over the years, I studied the steps to cut, nip, drill, and hand-grind my materials into beautiful jewelry.
