As a multi-tribal individual, I draw from my communities' traditions to create contemporary pieces that rely on inspiration from woodland designs. Typically, I create works using brain tanned hides, glass seed beads, synthetic sinew, nymo thread, and more recently porcupine quills. I find it important to honor my ancestry while creating pieces that are for use and not just for beauty. You will often find the work I create being worn by individuals for specific purposes, and not just hanging on a wall.
