My clay sculptures are all hand built. I use low fire clay some with mica, different colors some are red or white clay. I carve the clay pieces when they are leather dry. I put textures, lines, even different materials like stones, turquoise, shell, beads or even found objects. After the clay dries I fire them in a kiln on low fire. Once they are fired I paint them with acrylics, add feathers, leather, horse hair, sticks and hanging wires. Materials paints, clay tools, feathers, sticks, horse hairs, and wires.
