Metals Used: I use sterling Silver and/or gold. Turquoise & precious stones & gemstones used include: Natural various Turquoise, natural Mediterranean Coral, other natural gems/stones - such as; Pink Conch, Druzy, Lapis, Spiny Oyster, Peridot, Aquamarine, Amethyst, Ruby, Tourmaline, Citrine, Moonstone and others.Other material used: LeatherDescription of Process:I like to use the repousse technique so much of my work are repousse. I also handstamp and have started chiseling most recently. I layout the design of the piece being created on silver then I bump out the design. Once the design is bumped out, if the piece will be inlaid with stones I make the bezel for the stones, solder the bezel on the piece. Once that's done I file and buff. Once it's buffed I apply the patina on the pieces. After that I use the wheel to shine up the bumped out design so it stands out. I leave a lot of patina on my pieces to give it the antique traditional look.
