My latest works are beaded in a contemporary style. My beadwork is created with size eleven true cut beads and size thirteen Charlotte cut beads using flat stitch technique using two needles to lay the beads and tack the beads down, tacking every one and two beads at a time. I also use vintage, antique, and 24kt gold cut beads. I also lace edge bead to complete the pieces. I back my beadwork with brain tanned smoked deer, elk, and moose hide. My designs are inspired by my Diné and Iñupiaq culture as well as inspiration from nature, animals, and birds.
