I work with sterling silver and copper metals in creating traditional Navajo style jewelry with use of a wide variety of turquoise stones and shells. My work is fabrication of both metals. I use a hand held coping or jeweler saw to hand-cut all my pieces. I use an acetylene torch with 70 medium solder for soldering my metals together. I use shot plates to create different designs to add to my work. I use a variety of metal stamp tools that are handmade or machine made tools that I stamp into the metals. I am also experimenting with inlay work using many different type of stones and shells. I create bracelets, earrings, rings and pendants. I enjoy trying new techniques to combine into my work. I am a 7th generation silversmith in my family.
