Greetings, I am Lisa Chavez-Thomas. I am a self-taught pyroengraver and woodworker from the Pueblo of Isleta. My use of a fine tipped electric pyroengraving pens allows me to create intricate geometric designs and linework on gourds, wood and leather. Within these designs and linework, I use vibrant paints and wood and leather dyes to waken up my pieces.
