Lee is a seventh generation potter who learned to make Micaceous pottery from his traditional godfather, the late Felipe Ortega- Apache Medicine Man. He apprenticed under him for many years learning stories, language, culture and pottery. Having perfected the craft for the past 25 years, Lee leads pottery workshops where he engages learners of all ages in transferring the wisdom and knowledge of pottery building. Lee has won severalawards across numerous art markets and festivals.
