I enjoy using various types of textiles to create my artwork. The textiles I use the most are satin, cotton, organza, brocade, chiffon, lace, wool and leather. I will also use beads and jewelry findings to compliment my artwork when needed. When creating a regalia piece or contemporary piece I will use many types of textiles in order to achieve the look I am working on. I use a sewing machine and will hand sew many of the parts of my creation. I enjoy making the accessories that accompany my look. The accessories I make are moccasins, belts, purses, headbands, necklaces and earrings. I will use many resources as I am creating.
