I approach sculpting with various techniques. In bronze, the original creation is done by sculpting clay or from a stone. From the original, a bronze foundry will create a mold to make limited edition copies. The process, the lost-wax technique, takes about 12 weeks.In stone, I am constantly challenging myself on new techniques. Stones like marble, limestone, steatite and alabaster are used. Each having their own unique characteristics in hardness and color. The air compressor allows unlimited use of diamond blades and bits.
