Inspired by natural phenomena and cultural storytelling, my paintings showcase the use of acrylic paints combined with gel mediums to create vibrant, atmospheric works inspired by nature and culture. Gel mediums are mixed with acrylics to enhance the richness and luminosity of colors, while also extending drying time to allow for smooth blending and layering. A deep underpainting is employed to establish depth, enabling brighter tones like bold pinks, purples, yellows, and blues to stand out vividly. The addition of transparent washes and glazing techniques creates glowing effects, particularly in the sky and clouds, where the gradients transition seamlessly. Fine detailing, such as the intricate textures in fabric or the lifelike features of the crow, is achieved with precision brushwork, while larger brushes bring sweeping strokes that define the dramatic landscapes.
