I use Czech glass beads of various colors and sizes. My beading style consists of geometric designs and Dakota florals; lazy stitch and flat stitch. I adorn my pieces with glass beads, brass beads, brass thimbles, brass cones, brass sequins, elk teeth, dentalium shells, horse hair in various colors, deer hide, elk hide, money cowrie shells, ribbon, cotton fabric, and porcupine quills. I use rope for my beaded ropes with the wrap around technique of the Dakota.
