I am from Hopi/ 2nd Mesa, AZ. I am a 4th generation basket weaver. My aunt taught me the new style of the combination with sifter basket making. I learned from my grandmother during my youth years. My motivation for continuing to weave baskets is participating in our sacred traditional ceremonies held in my village. My favorite designs are animals, flowers, and cloud symbols. I really enjoy basket weaving.
