Everything is done by hand the old fashioned way using all natural paints and coiling/scraping technique to build and paint the pottery. I use basalt rocks and clay to build my pottery then I use a free hand method with the all natural paints to paint the pottery. I occasionally create my own new designs and incorporate them with the old traditional designs on the pottery. I learned this traditional technique from my mother that has been passed down to me (I am the 4th generation of potters) and I follow the old traditional methods that have been utilized throughout the generations. Included in this technique, I use the old firing method using cow manure and the pottery are fired above ground.
