Portfolio Example & Artist Statement
Sallyann Paschall

I use a variety of materials, depending on the particular work in progress. Materials include oils, oil & cold wax, acrylics & water media, drawing materials of all types, printmaking inks, encaustics and a variety of collage materials. I work on canvas or linen, wooden panels, and archival paper of all types. I very often tend to use a variety of materials and techniques in a single work, depending on what is needed. When printmaking, I most often utilize a 30" x 60" etching press and produce either large monotypes or mono prints with up to ten different impressions per print. Very occasionally will I produce an editioned etching.
