Information on the entries.The bag is made from brain tanned/smoke antelope hide beaded with size 13 cutglass beads, lazy stitch is used. Tin cones are sewn to bottom edge and on the long bead-decorated hide fringes. This is an old form of traditional beading. Hide handle attached and adorned with bone hair pipe and brass beads.Loom beading of pictorial of roaring bear with use of size 13 cutglass. This design is to honor the bear’s medicine for leadership blessings. It is finished with cut & sized copper cuff and tanned/smoked antelope hide for the backing, whipped stitched to produce the finished bracelet.Beaded bolo tie, two main beading techniques were used (gourd stitch on leather cord and applique stitch on vinyl). Applique beadwork for medallion piece with varying colors of size 13 cutglass beads with leather backing. When completed these two pieces are put together with backside loop and bead fringes are added. The piece is to honor the inner spirits or one’s lineage.
