I am from the Navajo reservation and been creating jewelry for the last 45 years. My silversmithing technique is mostly overlay, layering silver on top of each other, along with stamping, and texturing the silver. I am inspired by the patterns in traditional Navajo rug designs and other traditional symbols into my creations. The main material is silver, and the stones that I use range from turquoise, rainbow obsidian, agates, and fossils.
