My pieces are a mixture of cluster and wire works with some stamping. Making earrings are probably my favorite especially if I challenge myself in designing and creating an elaborate pair. It's mostly what I call "fancy wire works" and consists of bending and forming wires to create a design, similar but different to filigree. I say it looks simple but it's a lot of repetitive and tedious work, start to finish. However if you can pull it off you'll have a unique one of a kind piece. As far as stamping I like to do a lot of pictorials and storyteller scenes. Mainly navajo, southwest scenes of how I see the world and the stories tied to it. A lot of the stones I use I like to source from reputable dealers and miners who I get most of my materials from. When I bought my lapidary machines, I didn't know how to cut or cab till I started teaching myself. A lot of the designs are inspired by stories, teachings, the plants, the mountains, or being at ceremonies, inspiration comes to you.
