My name is Wylie Secatero. I am of the Navajo Tribe. My work consists of old techniques that were taught to me by my parents and my grandmother. The materials that I use for the creation of my jewelry are copper, silver, and turquoise. What I do is solder the silver to the copper, and then I proceed to stamp each piece with different Navajo designs. Some of the pieces I do are with copper and silver, and some are made with silver and turquoise. But what is consistent throughout my pieces is the stamp work.
